Employees at NHS North Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are sending an extra special Christmas present to the babies at the Royal United Hospital (RUH) in Bath this year.
Plans to merge the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire CCGs have been given the go-ahead by NHS England.
The CCG’s GP members have voted overwhelmingly to support a proposal to merge the three CCGs from April next year.
